The Turning holds a special place in my heart. It was originally a clip from this movie that I stumbled across online while doing homework in like eleventh grade or something, that introduced me to my own sexuality -- largely repressed before that. It was just a gif image of a short sequence from scene 1, in some kind of Girlsway ad or another, and I followed it all the way down the rabbit hole. The DVD of this was actually the first thing I bought on my first ever debit card lol
